Plan tasks with a drag and drop calendar

Place a task on a day, move it when plans change, and review the week without rewriting your list. Here is how ChaTodo's calendar works.

Start with a task and a day

Create a task in ChaTodo and give it a planned date. It appears on the calendar alongside your other tasks. You can switch between day, week and month views depending on how much detail you need.

Keep the task title concrete. A calendar can show when you plan to act, but a small next step makes the task easier to begin.

Move the task when your plan changes

On desktop, drag a task onto another calendar day to reschedule it. In a timed view, drop it into a time slot to change its planned time. You can also reorder tasks within a day.

If dragging is unavailable on your device, open the task and edit its date. The plan stays flexible either way.

Review the week, then choose one next action

The week view helps you spot a crowded day before it arrives. Move a task to a quieter day if its timing is flexible, then open Focus Paw when you are ready to work on one task.

The calendar is a plan, not a promise. Change it when new information or energy makes a different day more realistic.

A concrete example in ChaTodo

Add “Send the invoice” for Tuesday. A meeting fills that afternoon, so drag the task to Thursday in the calendar. In a timed view, drop it at 10:00. ChaTodo updates the task's planned date and time; the task stays in your list.

A schedule you can change

Drag tasks to another day or time on desktop, or edit their dates directly. Keep the week visible and make room for the next action you can actually do.
